Nikomi out into the chilled night air. Even though she was able to walk in the day, the vampyric blood that flowed through her veins made it to where she preferred darkness. It was a clear night, with only a few clouds hovering over the full moon. Nikomi thought back to the first full moon she saw after being turned, the porus surface looked like an imperfect ruby hanging in the sky, but this moon was nothing like that one. In nearly three-hundred years she had yet to see another moon like that one. With a sigh, Nikomi dug her hands deep into her coat pockets, turning her back to the moon to roam the streets for another night.

Quinton popped up in an area that he knew had no humans. As he teleported he noticed a young girl walking towered him, by the time he became visible, he was right in front of her. He regained his balance and placed his feet on the ground. "Well, your certainly not human." He said to the girl after looking her over. "That explains why I didn't notice you, see I was making sure there was no humans about, I wasn't expecting to find a... vampire?...or is it shapeshifter?...perhapse.. both? What a rare and intriguing mix." Quinton said tittling his fingers in delight. " So tell me. How dose one become a vampire shapeshifter?"

Nikomi stopped as the man appeared. It didn't surprise her like it would have a human and she slowly looked him up and down as he spoke. He was taller than her, most people were. "Why you want to join?" she muttered. She looked up at him, one brow raised at him, "Has anyone ever told you that you talk too much?"

"No no. I am something much better then anything you can shift to." Quinton said, answering her first question with a look of disgust on his face. "And yes I get told that all the time, but I really don't care about what the the little people think." He said snapping his fingers, summoning to Lay-Z Boy recliners out of thin air. Quinton, already sitting in one of the recliners, offered the other one next to him to the blond girl.

Nikomi rolled her eyes as the man continued to talk and shook her head when he manifested a recliner out of thin air in the middle of the sidewalk. But he did say there were no humans around, not like she believed him or anything, she took a seat. After a moment of nothing but sitting there, she turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "Why are we sitting here?"

Quinton spared her a smile as she sat down next to him. "I figured that if we were going to converse, we should at least be comfortable." He snapped his fingers again and a little table with a cup of coffee and a box of cigars appeared. "Coffee? Cigar?" Quinton asked, offering the items on the table to her. "So, tell me Nikomi, why do you stay on this planet with no last name, aren't you afraid that a human might get suspicious?"

Nikomi passed on the items that he offered with a gesture of her hand. She wasn't in the mood for mortal foods, knowing that they wouldn't satisfy the hunger that she felt. It had been a few days since she fed on blood and it was at the point where her skin had become more translucent than normal, revealing the blue veins that lay across her bones like ropes.
She shrugged to the mans questions, not really noticing that he knew her name without her giving it. "As of present, surnames aren't as important as they used to be. Cher, for example, isn't human and she is upfront, so to speak. Humans are dull to the small details." She sighed, sitting back in the chair. "Like sheep unaware of the wolf in disguise."
